Nollaig Healy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English & History from UCD, a Master of Arts in Arts & Heritage Management from SETU Waterford, and most recently, a Higher Diploma in Science in Digital Marketing & Analytics from SETU Carlow. With nearly two decades of experience within the cultural sector, Nollaig has made significant contributions across a spectrum of renowned arts organisations in Ireland. Her career includes pivotal roles in organisations such as the Kilkenny Arts Festival, Clonmel Junction Arts Festival, Pavilion Theatre, Gate Theatre, Visual Carlow, and Dublin Fringe Festival. Her expertise spans the management and curation of cultural events, strategic design and execution of marketing and communications initiatives, as well as undertaking freelance contracts for high-profile national events, including RTÉ’s Road to the Rising, Reflecting the Rising, and TradFest. Nollaig presently manages the Creative Climate Action initiative, ACT Waterford.

ACT Waterford is a project to encourage action on climate change in Waterford. It is an interdisciplinary project that combines science and art. In the last edition, 5 projects were developed in collaboration with communities and artists (Energy use and Efficiency; Biodiversity ; Suburban Transport; Greening the City; Consumption and Recycling). Nollaig Healy will talk about how to respond to climate change from a different angle and how art can facilitate science.
